There is always a huge lost and found in the cafeteria or jackets and water bottles at PE that aren’t labeled so they never find their home.A great simple, fun way to label them is with StickerKid. They have all kinds of labels, stick-on, iron on, dishwasher/microwave safe, etc. I ordered some and had them in less than a week!

Hey there Wildcats! My name is Sarah Harring and I’m your PTA President.  I do hope everyone enjoyed their summer vacation and are all relaxed and ready to kick off a new school year at LSG!  I want to extend a welcome to our new students, families, and staff members – it’s going to be a great year!

At the end of the last school year we surveyed you, our parents, about events and fundraising options.  We have taken the results of that survey into consideration and have planned some fantastic events and fundraisers for the new school year based on what YOU like.

We recommend that you bookmark our website and check it frequently for updates to events.  You should also like us on Facebook at!

These are both great resources for more information regarding events, fundraisers, your PTA board and more.  The website does include a Calendar of Events and our Facebook page is great for those last minute reminders!

I know that with your support, 2017-2018 is going to be a GREAT year!

~ Sarah

Monika's Corner

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year at Lake St. George. We are all excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. It is our goal to help every child feel welcomed, connected and a part of Lake St. George Elementary. As you know, we have great teachers and staff who spend hours planning and creating class activities that engage our students in learning. Our teachers use research-based best practices and analyze academic data to determine current skill levels and to set goals for growth and improvement. We hope that you find our school website helpful and informative. You can find important dates, our monthly newsletter, teacher email addresses, how to get involved and so much more. Not to mention great photos of our kids in action.  I am honored to serve as the principal of Lake St. George Elementary. It is truly a privilege to be a part of an A+ community where parents, teachers and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.

Once again, welcome back to our little piece of paradise!  Let’s make it another great year!
